Gymnastics Coach
We are currently recruiting for a gymnastics coach to work hours over Weekdays and Saturdays.
Purpose of Job
Teach Gymnastics to children aged between 4 and 12 years old in 45mins lessons.
Principal Duties
-
Teaching gymnastics skills in a safe and profession way that children will understand.

Ensuring the children have a safe and fun environment to learn in.

Run engaging and interesting sessions.
-
Ensure the children remain safe throughout the lesson.
-
Assess pupil’s ability and improvements. Be able to recognise which class each pupil would be best suited to.

Clean the equipment after each session ensuring it is ready for the start of the next one.

Swim Teacher - Sunday's
We are looking for a swimming teacher to help teach and coach people of all ages and abilities to develop swimming skills, technique, and confidence in the water. To help grow the swimming lesson programme on a Sunday.
Principal Duties
-
To plan and deliver lessons ensuring adherence to the scheme of work and lesson plans

Integration of our swimming lesson programme reward schemes into your classes
-
Ensure safe provision of all equipment and ensure it is used correctly
-
Make sure safety standards are followed in sessions
-
Identify participants’ abilities and encourage them to reach their full potential
-
Plan and deliver sessions appropriate to the level of swimmer
-
Provide explanations and demonstrate swimming techniques
-
Correct faults in swimming techniques and identify ways to improve performance
-
To be a positive role model, creating a positive and fun environment in which to motivate and encourage children and adults to participate in swimming

Set ground rules for each session

Evaluate sessions and give feedback

Regularly assess each participant’s ability and progress and arrange for the award of the appropriate certificates and advancement through the swimming lesson programme using our online portal

To attend regular meetings with the Swimming Co-ordinator as and when necessary
Qualification Level
ASA Level 2, Ideally the candidate will hold a valid National Reach Rescue Award / Pool Attendant Qualification or National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.

Lifeguards
We currently have vacancies for full time lifeguards aged 18+.
Please note the basic swim test you will be asked to complete in interview is 100M swim on the front immediately followed by a 100M swim on the back and a requirement to swim down to a depth of 3.5M. If you cannot undertake this swim test do not apply.

Duty Manager
Purpose of Job
To lead, manage and be responsible for the day to day operation of the facilities in and around a leisure centre site within a demanding commercial environment. Support, manage and develop a team of Lifeguards and Supervisors across the site, and assist the Operations Manager.
The post holder will be required to consistently provide on a pre-planned, ad-hoc, breakdown and reactive basis.
Principal Duties

Inspect and monitor the facility throughout the day in accordance with the procedures and deploy staff as required.

Lead, direct and motivate the operational team to ensure a quality service delivery.

Provide information, instruction, induction and training to operational staff to ensure they fulfil their roles in an efficient and safe manner.

Control and manage events such as accidents and emergencies.

Maintain a high profile throughout the facility and respond positively to customer needs, expectations and comments.

Undertake cash and transaction reconciliation and ensure cash security is maintained and
